ESP Guitars began in 1975 as Electric Sound Products in Tokyo, Japan, a store providing custom parts to hot-rod guitars. Soon, they began crafting their first complete guitars which have become the choice of top New York artists and session players such as Bruce Kulick (KISS), Carmine Rojas (David Bowie), Ronnie Drayton, Vernon Reid (Living Colour), and Page Hamilton (Helmet).
In 1993, ESP introduced their LTD line of high quality yet affordable guitars and basses.
Today, ESP's roster of artists include Ron Wood (Rolling Stone), Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield (Metallica), George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob), Alexia Laiho (Children of Bodom), Stephen Carpenter (Deftones), and countless others.
